At Select Van Moving Company, we want to ensure that any issues regarding loss or damage to your items are handled efficiently. Please review the guidelines below for submitting a claim:
- Local Moves: Claims for loss or damage must be filed in writing within 30 days of your move.
- Intrastate Moves & Local Moves with Storage: Claims must be filed in writing within 90 days of the delivery date.
For faster processing, we recommend that you unpack and inspect all your goods before submitting the claim form. Please ensure all required information is provided, as incomplete forms can delay the processing of your claim. Be sure to keep a copy of the claim form for your records.
Important Reminders:
- We reserve the right to visually inspect all items claimed as damaged. Do not repair, discard, or move any of the affected items from the delivery location before our inspection, as doing so may void your claim.
- Attach receipts or repair estimates for major items such as appliances, electronics, or vehicles to verify the amounts claimed.
